With Champ being a nearly unanimous decision last week, the only dissenting vote being his own, who will it be next time? Cast your vote in this thread!

Prizes:
1) Avatar if they don't have one
OR
2) The ability to banish a smiley if one annoys them
OR
3) The ability to add a smiley if they feel we're missing one
OR
4) The ability to bestow an avatar upon someone else they feel deserves it
OR
5) They may propose something as a prize and I'll see if I feel it is fair or needs to be negotiated.

My vote goes to Lythand. Once you step out of the tournament scene...there is still fun to be had with the game of Magic. He is a regular contributor to the casual forums and has given a lot of useful positive thoughts here.

Wow. Looks like this might be a landslide victory for Lythand.

Lol. I'd vote for myself but that's one sided. Where is all the participation at?

Personally, I think this is kind of a vague contest.  Maybe you should have a contest of character, not simply of best in show.  Instead of member of the week, maybe... "Contributor of the week."  "Deckmaker of the week."   "Critic of the week."  "Post of the week."  "Joke of the week."  "Representer of the Week" for someone who puts a picture of them promo-ing the site/boards... things like that.

Cuz imachampion is still basically the best poster here.  lol...no offense everyone else.

What XIII said is true, which is why I didn't bother voting.  No one really comes even close to second place in terms of constructive posts and knowledge of the game.  Again, why I said it should be something like member of the year.  You could even do something like member of Lorwyn block.  So when a set rotates out, a new member is elected?  Something along those lines.  At this rate we'll be out of members to nominate by the time the year is over.

Fair enough, we'll finish this one and I'll halt this until I can find a better way of doing it.

Although it's honorable that Imachampion nominated me, I can also understand peoples opinions as to why they are not voting. I really can't hold my values of a players as verse as Imachampion and I really don't expect people to see me as such. Therefor since there was only one vote for me, and I feel it's not warranted for recognition, I'd rather not be "Player of the week" because of the one vote. Maybe down the road if I am nominated by multiple people for an extrordinary article or something, then I would feel comforrtable as being player of the what ever.

Trick, maybe you would be better off selecting three players a "month", making note of what ever accomplishment they done, and then let people poll vote for them. I say a month because we still don't have "That" many people here, and doing it by the week will quickly run through all our members.

Excellent ideas as well.

So say we all, let's close this down and let me reevaluate.
