All in all good article for the players who are in the process of switching from casual magic to competitive magic or the people who havnt paid much attention to standard within the last month, for everone else it was a pretty "Well duh." article

I know where you were going with the article, but G/x isnt the only other color you can play to effectivly beat faeries.  In my testing Merfolk has done a much better job at consistantly beating the fae than any g/x combination.
