Of course by bring food I assume your suggesting to bring food & leave it in your car until you find out whether or not the organizer allows food at there event?

I know Unity has a policy of kicking you out if you bring in outside food and I've been to several stores that sell there own drinks and snacks so they make you eat outside if you bring anything.

I personally feel that most of the articles in general have been a little on the short side, but they arent bad.

What's our chances of having some casual articles, much like how Chris Romeo or Abe Seargent does (did in the case of Chris Romeo).

I am debating on what my next article will be about...but I am leaning toward [EDH]. Thoughts?

What kind of casual article are you interested in? Alternate formats? Crazy Wacky decks? Budget decks? Turning tournament decks into budget? Just give some ideas of what you want to see covered.

All of the above. Standard has gotten to expensive for me and now I play a lot of casual and Multiplayer. I was at coolstuff in the back playing with the Multiplayer guys when the tournament was going on. With the new wife and real reponsibilities, it makes it hard for me to play competative anymore.

So any kind of casual format. EDH or Commander would be a nice start. I am also a fan of PDC (Pauper Deck Challange).

I'm more than happy to have people write about casual magic, spread the word! Have them submit their articles and I'll be glad to look them over and publish them.

Budget decks are an interesting topic of discussion because they always lead to a wide variety of answers for general deck archetypes.

OOOOOO, how about a standard legal peasant deck?  Back when the Timespiral came out we had a Peasant deck tournament at my local play group. (Purple cards counted as whatever their orginal rarity was).  The prize was a full set of Timeshifted Squires, but it was a lot of fun to build and play with Peasant restrictions.

I'm planning a section of the site devoted to Magic variant formats, so keep these ideas together as I'll need help building out that info. I might just make it a wiki.
