So, here is my current block Doran build, let me know what you think.
The idea is to use Gaddoc to lock out the powerful commands and such,
other than that it's pretty basic Doran.

It is a good question, but with 'spout and 'thresher I'm not sure if it's
gonna server a purpose. I've been thinking of adding it, but can't seem
to make the cut.
Btw, the mana base is not final yet.

Next question: What do you do if someone plays Bitterblossom against you? The only answer I see is Oblivion Ring. Maybe consider Primal Commands or something else?

I will sit by watch them collect tokens while they slowly kill themselves,
then I will either 'Spout or 'Thresher the annoying pests and laugh
manically when they can't Cryptic Command it due to my Gaddock :D

i like your fixed version a lot, for lands maybe drop one Bastion or one Reflecting Pool for another Vivid Meadow or Grove, and i would take out the wheel of sun and moon for
Faerie Macabre
which is a pretty strong graveyard hate card (probably see quite a few manequin variants around)

Edited the lands a bit, I wanna keep the Pools cos they are just awesome with
the Vivids, added another Marsh since it provides the all important black as base.
Not sold on the Macabre tho, the BB is hard on the mana base and WoSaM works
on me as well, tho I doubt I will use that much.

i just like the macabre cause of its effect, decks with GY hate will most likely have some way to work around constant interuption like sun and moon, such as bounce effects or o-rings or the like, while the macabre cant be countered and is instant speed GY removal, i have some SBd in my standard doran deck right now and i never cast them but use their discard ability a good bit

Some notes:
1. Nothing is more satisfying than countering Cryptic Command with Gutteral Response.
2. Fulminator Mage wrecks the mirror.
3. Merfolk is much more difficult in block than in standard constructed without the mana accel.
4. I kept a hand vs Shamans that led to T2 Bitterblossom, T3 Doran, T5 Colossus (due to opposing fulminator mage) and it did nothing against a solid RG hand due to a lack of removal. Both games I never saw o-ring or shriekmaw. If this is the case, there may be problems.
5. At first I hated the idea of Treefolk Harbinger because it is terrible in standard; however, without llanowar elves or birds of paradise, harbinger helped fix my hand quite well and against some decks getting an extra Colossus just because is quite good.

Grats on the win, BassmanARW, I'm happy to see Doran is viable in block,
tho I kinda lost my faith in it for a while, but it does have all the tools to
destroy the opponent.
