Here is my newest toy to play with in block.
Its a very simple yet very powerful deck to play. The very first thing that you must remember with this deck...DO NOT OVER-EXTEND!!!! As long as you are able to apply pressure to your opponent...there is no reason to continue dropping creatures...because you will be setting yourself up for a nasty Firespout. Drop an Imperious Perfect and another beater...and just turn your guys sideways. Force them to use there removal...then lay another threat. With 36 threats in the deck...you will easily be able to push through even the most removal based decks.

Here is a bread and butter game for you.

Turn 1: Forest. Nettle Sentinel
Turn 2: Attack with the Nettle Sentinel. Play Nettle Sentinel, Heritage Druid, and a Forest. Untap your Nettle Sentinel.
Turn 3: Forest. In response to your opponents Firespout...tap your 3 elves to add (ggg) to your mana pool and tap your 3 Forests to cast Cloudthresher.

This play has won me so many games. Anyway, I figured that I would bring my Elves deck to the forums for people to check out. As usual...post your comments or suggestions.

Have you considered Door of Destinies? A fella of mine plays a Block Elf deck and the Door just tears the shit out of burn decks and helps make elves crazy powerful. I can see the purpose of keeping Cloudthresher in there but if you replace the colossus' with 4 doors it may work pretty nicely.

heh...yeah. I just don't like Elfball. Even though this technically is elfball...Door of Destinies just seems like win more. I would almost rather run Garruk Wildspeaker.
