4   Fetid Heath
5   Swamp
12     Plains

3   Divinity of Pride
3   Voracious Hatchling
4   Nip Gwyllion
3   Archon of Justice
3   Nobilis of War
3   Oversoul of Dusk

4   Unmake
4   Prison Term
4   Oblivion Ring
3   Recumbent Bliss
3   Syphon Life
2   Light from Within

The way I constructed this deck was on 3 points
-Removal/Disruption
-Gap
-Big Assault
The plan of attack is survive early on with all the removal, while creating a gap via, Nip Gwylion, and Syphon Life, then with the Lifelink later, my big creatures can come out for a kill.

Help?  Thoughts?  Ideas?
This deck actually beat a pretty competetative Fairy Deck, I think it has some potential.

I really like the idea of BW in Block and even in Standard. My version was a little more aggressive featuring Makeshift Mannequin and Stillmoon Cavaliers. I am still in testing though so...my opinions will have to wait.

I came up with a decent B/W deck, but it just wasn't consistent enough.

Looking at the trends today, you MUST have cards that do multiple things. For example:

Bitterblossom - A Faerie AND multiple permanents
Profane Command - Removal/Recurr
Perfect - Pumping Elves and creating them

The problem I had with B/W was that I just kept drawing lands. Or, it I would merely lose due to attrition.

What about this:

I am still testing things out but...I think this style deck may have the power to push through this meta. I am still very much undecided on a sideboard strategy but...I think that it would focus on utility creatures. Just thought I would give some ideas.

Ya that seems to work well, but I was thinking that since with the mass disables, you would want some big creatures to destroy them quick after you get them all tied down.  Thats why the avatars came to mind
On the riders, I really dont like it is as a card.
I rather use restless apparation instead.

Have you played with Stillmoon Cavaliers? Try him. You will be a believer. Archon of Justice could just as easily be Divinity of Pride. I was looking that both were 4/4 fliers...Archon of Justice is a damned if you do...damned if you don't type of card that I thought played well. This is still rather untested.

I guess its a difference of opinions then. I just really like that if your opponent isn't playing Red...Faeries...then Stillmoon Cavaliers is just a savage ruthless beating. Not only is it unblockable...its unremovable. Just something to think about.

I like this build. What about Demigod of Revenge for a finisher?

hmm...I hadn't thought about him. He would undoubtably take Archon of Justice's spot...and we would have to rearrange some mana...but that may be worth testing.

I Haven't even had an oppurtunity to try this at a full blown FNM yet, and prolly won't have a chance for atleast 2 weeks (the guy that runs the tournies at my store will be at GenCon) But It beat a few powerful decks in the playtests we did...

Sorry in advance I don't know how to autocard on this site, my first post on these forums

nvm, found it

I have everything here cept the fetid heaths, i've been running 10 swamp 14 plains, should probably even it out to 12/12 No one around here plays fairie decks, i assume none of them want to fork out the money, but did fairly well against U/G Aggro/Control and very well G/R Big Mana also went against a competitive Scarecrow Deck (seriously) and lost some close matches, just didn't get an answer to Mishra in time and didn't topdeck Hallowed Burial on the final turn ;), I'm not as active in competitive magic as I would like to be, but i feel this is one of the stronger Deck lists i've come up with over the years.

Criticism Appreciated

I was thinking about making a mono white deck, my problem, of course is instant removal.  Plus i dont have thoughtseize and stuff. bitterblossom too, but i dont have the money for the blossom

I have some things that i wanted to include and here is an idea. many things would need to be tweaked of course.

14 creatures
4 Figure of Destiny
2 Divinity of Pride
2 Oversoul of Dusk
2 kitchen finks
4 stillmoon cavalier

21 spells
3 Edge of Divinity
4 unmake
4 recumbent bliss
2 prison term
3 hallowed burial
2 light from within
3 turn to mist

some lands

SB
-Beckon Apparition-Spitemare-Spirit of the Hearth and/or Purity (against burn decks)
-others

does this deck seem to be viable? or something like this? Or is the B/W deck prolly better?
