Who is your favorite MTG artist?  What's your favorite card art?

My favorite is Daarken, who has illustrated cards such as Midnight Banshee and Korlash, Heir to Blackblade.  ALso, revealed today on MTG.com was another card that he/she has provided the visual for: Sarkhan Vol.

Favorite art...?  Probably Liliana.. But Terramorphic Expanse gets Honorable Mention.

Old School I'd say Dan Frazier or Chris Rush - Jester's Cap and the Moxen and Lotus classics

Mid School I'd say Richard Kane Ferguson - Pillage PWNS

Overall Terese Nielson for Sea Sprite smiley

I have to second RKF, though I also love the art from the Ravnica lands.

My favorite has always been Ron Spencer. I love the detail and the vibrant colors he puts into his work. Yawgmoth's will is one of my favorites.

I do not know who it was that did the art but I was absolutely amazed with the FNM Pendelhaven.

I've had a few favs, but in the end i like Ron Spencer's work, and am always able to tell his artwork when i'm opening packs from a new expansion. One of my more favs is Hammer of Bogardan.

It's really hard to pull a favorite out on him. All his work is just awesome in my view. I even liked Goatnapper.

Did you see the new judge promo of Demonic Tutor he did the art for? It is truly dark and epic.

I am really surprised no one has said Rebecca Guay. I personally hate her art but...she is almost always mentioned when art is brought up.

I think Trick should pull some of his Wizards of the Coast strings and get us an artist for the next Mananation tourny.

I will gladly do it. I can almost draw a stick figure. Be sure to bring in your Power Nine for me to doodle on.
