I just came back from a Triple Eventide booster draft (which confused most people. "Wait, its TRIPLE Eventide? OHHH jeez...)
I drafted Mostly Black/Green with a mono green land base and splashing for some U/G [Snakeform and Slippery Boggle most notably] and did ok, finished top 10. The deck itself was a lot of fun and I may try and do something similar in constructed in the future.
Not sure what the guy who got 1st was playing as he wasn't in my pod, but I know a lot of the top placers drafted R/W and some of those decks were ridiculous. The speed and combined with a bunch of first and double strikes (double strike owned me a couple times) really makes playing against someone not fun.
But I think the surprise card for me was
Ballyknock Trapper
. A kid playing R/W got these guys down and it won him the game, I watched him play his next match, and it won him that too.
But I had a lot of fun, I enjoyed the Triple Eventide draft.

R/W eh? R/w has never won at our FNM place, it always seems that R/U or W/B always wins. R/U can just top deck so well and has some speed but w/b just has so super amazing cards and if you can get something as a double lifelinker it's pretty much game over. I was in top 4 had the guy down to 1 life and was gonan flame jab him next turn but he dropped a voracious hatchling and put the r/w and b/w auras on it making it 9/9 double lifelink he swung and i chumped but he went to 19 from 1 and I scooped.

I think B/W is definitely the best color combo in the set, and its what I normally draft but I wanted to do something different this week. I don't know if anyone in my pod drafted B/W actually.
I drafted B/G, I know the guy who won our pod drafted U/G, 2 people drafted W/R (one of them got the good creature spells, and the other guy kinda got screwed and just ended up playing an ok burn deck). Someone did a Green-ish blueish blackish deck.
But W/R on the whole did really well.
