I know that the current feeling is that white is the strongest of the colors in the set. I just wish I would see more? I'm playing lots of Blue + Black decks and today's is Green+Black that goes Green+white after sideboard because that's the better build.

Flourishing Defenses + Blowfly Infestation is too much fun. Seriously.

Me I've always ALWAYS been a fan of GU and GB drafting, all the way back to mirrodin drafts and kamigawa drafts!  I think that in this format you really get a lot of the best by going UG, you get the great UW fliers (silkbind faerie being the most notable) and the great RG and GW creatures and spells that you really want.  having access to medicine runners and silkbind faeries in the same deck and scuzzback mauraders providing some real strong beef has been a very successful combination for me.

But I can see purer GB being powerful, giving you some nice UB effects and GR effects without having to sacrifice too much consistency.  Hopefully eventide will open things up even wider!

What I ended up doing was going GB with the submitted deck, I should have gone GW though. So after game 1 I switched colors on the opponent and shifted my mana slightly. I had gotten the UW witch and the UB witch, so I had to keep an island in the deck and then I swapped swamps for plains and voila, my deck was even better.

But Blowfly Infestation and Flourishing Defenses was usually enough to get a concession by the opponent. smiley
