This is a fun deck I decided to build for casual play using the raw hybrid powers of Eventide and Dissension to make a U/G deck that just makes my creatures overrun you in short time.

Creatures - 28
2    Experiment Kraj (I am still considering taking these out for 2 more guildhalls but they work pretty nice.)
4    Gilder Bairn (This cute little guy synergizes very well with Vigean Hydropon and Plaxcaster Frogling.)
2    Momir Vig, Simic Visionary (Momir Vig is in here to help me pull my creatures out like Murkfiend and Kraj.)
3    Murkfiend Liege (Murkfiend works amazingly well in this deck, It gives every creature +2/+2 and Basically vigilance because they untap at my opponents next step, works great in multiplayer as well.)
3    Plaxcaster Frogling (Plaxcaster is a nice little grafter with a good ability to boot.)
4    Shorecrasher Mimic (Every spell in this deck will transform SHorecrasher and paired with a Favor of Overbeing it crushes.)
2    Simic Guildmage (The guildmage works well with Vigean and Gilder because ti helps move those +1/+1 coutners all over the board.)
4    Slippery Bogle (The Bogle is here because I need some 1cc creatures, He also works nicely with the Favor.)
4    Vigean Hydropon (Vigean Hydropon helps a lot to pump my creature up and keep them from dying by burn.)

Non-Creatures - 8
3    Fable of Wolf and Owl (The fable is a great game turner late game and provides em with plenty of creatures.)
3    Favor of the Overbeing (The favor of overbeign can be enchanted to virtually any creature and make it godly.)
2    Snakeform (I run a pair of snakeforms just because they help take down fatties with a 1/1 and nets me a card.)

Lands - 24
9    Islands (Your everyday Island.)
9    Forests (Your everyday Forest.)
4    Simic Growth Chamber (Really helps in getting the Dissension creatures out if I'm getting only 1 type of base land.)
2    Flooded Grove (Again helps pull out the Gold Dissension cards.)


I find this deck very fun to play and semi-competitive. If anyone can tell me how to hotlink my cards to images that would be great and I will graciously accept criticism and advice to make this deck better.

Let me do some searching and thinking and I will get back to you with some ideas here. My initial thoughts would be to focus more on the Grafting ability and less on the tricks...Experiment Kraj and Fable of Wolf and Owl.

I've been thinking of different ideas for the deck...but I keep circling around to a different deck idea. UG happens to be my favorite color combination so. Here is what I would do with the deck:

1: Start over with a clean slate.
2: Figure out your theme.
3: Aggro, Control, or Tempo?
4: Brainstorm. Each card in your deck should have a purpose. Vigean Hydropon is a great example of this. He doesn't really do anything and is solely dependant on other creatures. Go to Gatherer and search out all the cards that interact with your Theme (Step 2).
5: Weed the weaker cards out of your list.
6: Start building the deck.
7: Goldfish the deck and make modifications.

The obvious cards that I feel will benifit this deck the most is Plaxcaster Frogling, Plaxmanta ,Coiling Oracle, Remand, and Snakeform. As much as you like...I just don't think that Momir Vig, Simic Visionary is very good. I am not telling you not to run him...I am telling you that he is not optimal for the deck. I remember when Ravnica was first out...Grafting was quite good. However...it was a Tempo / Aggro deck.

I am going to do a little more work and see if i can't come up with something by this evening.

Hmm let me see what I can work out. My original version actually wasn't thought out very well. Maybe if we both combine our ideas we can make a good extended deck.
