A dream
«
on:
April 11, 2008, 07:29:45 AM »
I don't put a lot of direct stock in my dreams, usually I don't remember them but I've been sleeping restlessly these last few days and last night I had a dream about
Bitterblossom
.
I was watching a Magic game and a guy just kept putting a token into play, drawing his card and passing the turn, content to lose a life and gain a creature. His opponent's board was empty, literally, no lands, no creatures, just a fistful of cards. And yet the
bitterblossom
army did not attack. I don't know why. It seemed as if there was the message that potential does no good unless acted upon.
Like I said, I don't put a great deal of stock in my dreams, but this is one I woke up and immediately knew the lesson there.
Weird.
Bitterblossom
is so powerful it's taking over my dreams.

There is actually a pretty simple remedy here Trick. Stop sleeping. It's overrated.
Bitterblossom
is the clearly the
Dark Confidant
of standard right now. After having looked at the spoiler for the next set though...get your fill now because Shadowmoor is loaded with hosers.

Yes, it's sad. But if the rumors are to be beileved than r/g is gonna hose are little 1/1 flyers. I'm hoping that when Eveningtide hits, W/B will be really strong and with all of whites awesome disenchantments, perhaps a W/B weene deck with Bitterblossom will be viable.
So the message is clear, wait until shadowmoor drives down the prices of Bitterblossom. Pick some up. Watch them sky rocket when Eveningtide hits and profit.

Or maybe Trick's dream is about the struggle of the every day man working 9 - 5. Obviously.

I would like to see them make more turtles.... There have been a few turtles such as:
Giant Tortoise
Giant Turtle
Horned Turtle
Vintara Snapper
I think that it would be hilarious in casual play to use a Tribal turtle deck... Or even for 1.5--- a Ninja/Turtle deck, lol. Ok, but they make these few cards such as turtles and eyes and they should continue to expand to make possible any type of tribal deck(if that made any sense at all--Really tired).
As to the dragons... They should make an entire race of "Creature - Dragonkin" with all having the abilty "such and such counts as a Dragon". They don't have to be amazing... Maybe make them similar to Faeries, all having flying. Or for that matter, having them all tap to deal damage equal to their power(firebreathing and all). What would be awesome is for a Dragon card that was a double card(flip the card and it becomes a different card) where he starts as a say.... 1/1 Dragonkin Hatchling and has an upkeep ability that over the coarse of 5 turns, he gets +1/+1 bigger... Like, vanishing 5 and when a vanishing counter is removed... put a +1/+1 counter on him. Then the ability... When the last counter is removed, "flip the card" thus making him a different creature. This could be a 3/3 Flyer with "tap, deal damage equal to its power." So, in essence the dragon hatchling would become a dragon, eventually(the 3/3 would still have the +1/+1 counters). Anyway, you would have to play Kamagawa block in order to appreciate the double cards. Anyway, it would be a pretty cool idea. Possibly broken though.
Wrong thread - heh.

Crap, I clicked the "next" button thinking there was more than one page... If at all possible, could you move it to the topic about new tribes that we would like to see.

all you have to do is cut down on your daily dose of faerie and you will sleep much better or think about the homelands set, you'll be so tired of thinking about how bad it was you'll fall asleep.
