Sure no problem.  The stack is very confusing even for more experienced players.  Heck, I was even mistaken in my earlier post when I said the trigger went to the stack before the state-based effect was checked.  Those SBE's are always being checked it seems.  It's the 2nd most complicated thing in magic with the first most complicated being the game layers.   The layers still trip me up from time to time. If you use the pumping effect on Devoted Druid you could continue with the combo. It would also help you pump it out faster.

@Gleemax
It depends on which layers for me. Humble effects still blow my mind. And also the fact that if a Blood Moon and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth are in play...the Tomb can't do anything.

Ok! I do know the answer to Bloodmoon and Urborg. If there is a static replacement effect from two sources... Its the one that has(i believe its called) a later timestamp.... Whichever one was played last overrules the other replacement effect. This works the same with null profusion and spellbook... But only if you played the spellbook last.

No clue if any has said this, sorry if they have, but have to grim poppets in play and a flourishing defenenses in play. Infinate Tokens, You get rid of one of the -1/-1 counters, doesn't matter, then move a counter between the grim poppets you get infinate tokens. Boom, dead the turn after

Sinking feeling
morselhoarder
and one of these
Flourishing Defenses(Infinite Elves)
Power of Fire(Infinite "Fireball")
Presence of Gond(Infinite Elves)
Elemental Mastery(infinite Elemental Hasters)
______________

So, have a morselharder in play enchanted with sinking feeling. (insert tap ability or leave blank for flourishing defense) Use his remove a counter ability to add 1 mana. Then use the mana on sinking feeling to untap him.  After this is done, repeat as neccessary with any of the other cards in play to get infinite combos.

My idea is a bit expensive on the mana but all in one set-so it's a block infinite token combo
