since shadowmoor came out, we all know that there are alot of cards  that affect the standard metagame, however are there any cards that will affect the extended and legacy games and can any of these cards fit into some of the staple archetypes of extended and legacy?

Painter's Servant doesn't affect grindstone.
Umm...are you sure about that?

Grindstone - 1
Artifact
3,T: Put the top two cards of target player's library into that player's graveyard. If both cards share a color, repeat this process.

Painter's Servant - 2
Artifact Creature - Scarecrow
As Painter's Servant comes into play, choose a color.
All cards that aren't in play, spells, and permanents are the chosen color in addition to their other colors.

Did you happen to misread this card?

Wierd,

I clicked on the painter's servant link and got

after checking gatherer and seeing that it's

which DOES affect grindstone.  I'll let Jerry know that he's got misinformation on his site.

Yhere is a LOT of misinformation on the Coolstuff site as far as Magic cards go. And card that has a U mana symbol in its text, has a B symbol instead. Check out Memnarch and see what I am talking about.

heh...I don't think that they have a blue mana symbol either. CoolStuff is missing a lot of info on the screen. This is why I asked Trick to change to another card engine...but for advertising purposes...that won't happen.

Um, why do you bother reading the site text anyway, when you can zoom up the card?
