What Tribe do you wish to see?

I know it's cliche, but I feel like there's a lot of design space left for vampires. We have them occasionally and they had a family of them in Homelands, but can't we see a return to them?

I have two favorites. Ninja's and Spirits. Weird how they are both from Kamigawa.

You know whats funny about the April Fools Joke that WOTC did...was that theme would actually be a huge hit with the fans. Pirates and Ninja's are probably the favorite type of about 60% of Magic players. I knew it was a joke as soon as I saw the deck list...but I really hope that it is foreshadowing for the future.
I would also like to put this to words. I want Kamigawa back. I may be the only person that liked that block but...it was really fun. I enjoyed it.

Eye.
Flat out, Eyes, well there is only 2 and we need more than that to make them show up in any deck, I think an Eye deck would be a great addition to anyone's arsonel.
Eye.

I thought it would be cool to see an entire tribe of dragons, maybe even make them...y'know...playable? Yeah i know there have been tons of dragons through the years, but none of them really have had an impact in recent years.
Would it really be that hard to have a dragon tribe and make a decent spread of mana amongst them?

hmm...
Rather than Dragons...I would like to see the other forms of dragons like Drake, Drakeling, etc...make it to the card. Then having legendary dragons reign over them...that would be cool.
My problem with Dragons is that there is so much expected out of them. To make an entire tribe of dragons...you would be forced to make so many that their 'awesome' value would have to go down. I mean honestly...can you imagine a tribe filled with cards on the same power level as
Kokusho, the Evening Star
,
Yosei, the Morning Star
,
Keiga, the Tide Star
,
Bogardan Hellkite
,
Rorix Bladewing
, etc...I mean it would just be insane. Also knowing WOTC...they would probably give you a ton of rituals to power them out and a handy
Dragonstorm
to put you over the top.
That is why I think an order of Dragons would work. 10-15 Dragon-Drake and 1-3 Dragon Legends. Just my thoughts.

No I'm with you, we could revist the Kamigawa plan. That'd be fine by me. I loved the Kitsune since they gave white a nice non-human race for a change (I dislike the fugly kithkin). We need more foxes. Also I love the rat creature type, so you can see why Kamigawa may have been up my alley.
Kamigawa was dripping in flavor, it's just some of the mechanics that made most consider it a bad set. Bring back splicing, ninjas, & Flip cards I say, but maybe leave out the spirit craft and channel for something better.

See now I really liked Spirit Crafting. Again with flavor. It made the set more personal. They could have done a better job with the quality of spirit crafting but the idea was really good.
Channel was just garbage... It was everything that Cycling is glad it isn't.
Finally...Who did like those names? Nothing is more fun than someone playing
Cranial Extraction
and not knowing how to pronounce the name. I would always tell my opponent that if he described the card to me it counted...but they had to at least give the name a shot. heh...good times.

A friend of my time spoke Japanese and he kept saying "Meluko" rather than "Meloku" and it's because oku is not a japanese construct or something, I don't remember exactly.
I enjoyed parts of Kamigawa but Ravnica blew it out of the water for me.
