Ok got a question.
Quote
Kyoto, Japan
February 27-March 1, 2009
Formats: Standard, Booster Draft
Top 8: Standard
QT Format: Sealed Deck
QT Dates: October 4 - December 28, 2008
What does QT stand for?

I guess this is good. I prefer to test for an event and then play the event and either win or lose. Now you have to win 2 different formats to win the tourny? That sounds a little lame to me.

I like the change to two formats, it will do more to make sure the champions are well rounded players rather than lucky one shots. Also it will draw some older players in as it no longer is about the deck of the week.

I'm surprised there's no Europe stop planned other than Worlds. Though Austin is a good spot (one ManaNation should make) and who knows maybe we can get to Hawaii (as a show) and Lee can compete ;)

First impressions, really stupid. I think I just don't understand how it works. Is it me or is it not explained too well how it works? From reading, Announcing the 2009 Pro Tour Schedule by Brian David-Marshall, it sounds lame. However, I'll save my rant for later when I better understand the changes. Is it me or does that article not explain how it work, or am I just an idiot? Seems rather vague and lacking details.

They ddin't explain Pro Tour rules and all of that because those who need to know that information, already know it.
