Lee and I discuss the suicide black decklist from imachampion, discussing how it's good, how it's bad and where to make it better. We also improved on our usual formats some in episode and tried a few new things.

Great episode guys. I agree with most of the changes...except for Profane Command. I will admit that I have tested Suicide Black more in Legacy than in Extended...but I feel that this card is just to powerful to pass up. I think that you are under-estimating the power of returning a creature and removing one of theirs.

My initial reason for keeping the deck Mono Black was to prevent the additional lifeloss caused by the fetch and shock lands. However...by removing Wretched Anurid you could mend those wounds enough to find the splash acceptable. I will caution that I converted this deck before the 3 damage burn deck became big. I don't think it is possible to beat that deck with Suicide Black.

Again I really appreciate the feedback and the doctoring. From your suggestions here is what I found.

On a sidenote. Trick rather than Storage Lands...wouldn't Cabal Coffers be a better choice?

And as for madness, who plays that? oh wait.......

Sui is better in Legacy because you get Dark Ritual, Hymn, Carnophage, and Sarcomancy..... You've been on the recieving end of those right?

Yeah yeah. How does Solidarity having 90% win on you feel? 

Like I said before...I am not comparing the Legacy version with the Extended version...I am comparing the Extended version with the Legacy version. Legacy is the superior version...I understand that...but my point is that it is a viable option in the Extended environment.

True, nothing like having your deck disappear in response to the "Draw a card" trigger on Sword of Fire and Ice
