Hey Trick
Good job for a one man show
keep it going
as i said in my email it will be good for a lot of new players if you guys could explain some of the terms on cards
also the the meaings such as */*   or X/X   I think i have them now but they were a litttle ruff to grasp at first
and with so many cards and  the golden rule that the card wins some time can be a little danwting
So I think if you guys work some of the shows on how some of the cards work it would be a great help to all newbes
I think the way Lee has shown how he puts a deck together is great
Well keep it going
Oh yah where can I get one of the posters, I will get the word out here
Mpls & St Paul would be a good spot what do ya think

Great show Trick. I am excited for you. It seems like everything is slowly coming together.

Is Dale R. Jarret you Dad? Did he recently pass? If so...my sympathy is with you. To spin this on a good note though...The end of your show gave me a cool idea for you.

During all the filming I am sure you guys discuss things before taping. What if you were to record that with the sound muted. Then at the end of the episode you can either just show it...or clips of it with one of your favorite songs playing in the background. I have never heard Jonathan Coulton...but I really liked that song. This would give a personal touch to your show while not requiring hardly anything extra. Just a thought.

I am working on bringing as many people as I can to the tournament. I hope we can get a lot more than just 16 people though.

Looks like things are moving forward nicely Trick. I find that I mention ManaNation quite a bit in casual conversations with my Magic buddies, hopefully this will start to translate into them gettng involved. I've never been very good at prostilitizing. (Man! How's that for a big word? read)

Ummmm, Isn't that illegal in most of the states except for Nevada?    laughing

X triple I... It actually is roman numeral 13, so you were right to call me 13.  That's what I was shooting for.

Cool episode, the low production value gave it a nice intimate touch (not like that, sicko).  My friends and I are going to Shadowmoor prerelease, and I'm wearing the mananation T-shirt.  I'll talk up the forums and the podcast and try to get them on there.

Another thing is, you should definitely advertise your tourney in the area and try to get more people interested.  That way it's not a members only type thing.  Also, I'm surprised there was no video of Lee or anything, after all he was doing something very magic related.  Shoulda brought a video cam!

I certainly hope there will be videos of the tourney April 12... I won't be there unfortunately.  :(

imachampion - My mother was Dale Jarrett, she passed away a year ago, March 16, 2007. I went up to Atlanta this weekend to be with family and to bury her ashes. Just got back twenty minutes ago.

BigFiber - Yep, it's beginning to gain momentum!

XIII - It's what I figured. Four years of Latin in high school paid off!

WolfStalker - Thanks!

Odd coincidence.  My grandpa died a year ago on the 16th.  My condolences to you and yours.

About the podcast though, are you gonna televise any of the rounds or at least a few cool games that go on at the tourney?  I'd like to see all you guys play, since I'm all far away n crap.  I'd like to see if everyone's as quirky as me and my friends.  :P

Good to know that the site continues to move along.  Looking forward to the site updates.  Definitely trying to make more of the smaller local limited nights to add to the forum content.  Right now, work and life pretty much dictate my tournament schedules so I'm not posting as much as I'd like but hopefully I'll have some more of my drafting learnings to share as I get more events under my belt.
