Let me tell you why Augury Adept will be better than Ohran Viper... It's BLUE... Unsummon and Boomerang can definitely take charge of a situation. Green doesn't have the same type of removal that Blue does. Pair it with Black, and you get Bitterblossom, the "NEW" Sygg and it's tough.

@theory, yeah Darren and I are continually seeking the next improvement. We like the screen split (what we call the 3 segment view) but it isn't perfect yet. The new view with split cards is cool but still imperfect. So we'll continue exploring.

Well the reason why Viper is/was so good was because it's GREEN! haha. Getting card draw on a stick in green is rather rare. Blue on the other hand has had Shadowmage Infiltrator and Cutpurse in recent times. Adept will see more play than Infiltrator in some cases, but essentially the OPP will have similar troubles in either situation. Every time I see UB play Infiltrator is eats removal during the same turn or the turn after, but at least it avoids terror and Shriekmaw. Adept is open to it all haha. Adept may be played more than Infiltrator in control decks, yet I'm not sure if he will be too much more of a game changer than Infiltrator is.

I like the new Rhys.

I thinkhe is going to be my new commander for Commander Highlander.

It was cool that Wizards let you preview a card. Not the greatest. Good for Limited. I bet it could be a bomb though in the right Doran deck.
