I too enjoyed the show guys. I also thought that playing the 2nd Knight was the better call. Take it to the Faerie player! O-Ring is there for problems that little critters can't handle and you were winning the race Trick.

The show was really well done and put together you all. Keep it up!

I was gonna say, I never called trick "a man" because I'm not sure. However, he is THE man at least as a boss is concerned :P

I found you guys on iTunes the other day and had to check out the website.  notworthy
The game you guys played was very informative because i didn't know all that much about kithkin or faeries, I am right now working with merfolk, and scarecrows (mainly because that's all I have....).  BangHead
You said you asked for ideas and well my mind went flying. Could you try doing a draft on camera (I don't know if you have done it before but...) I keep getting stuck on which to take... I need some help, I want to have a booster draft with friends and family (yes family) and I really intend on winning lol. evil

I noticed you had some articles I DID read them, but it's much easier to learn i think by example...

Sorry to ask a stupid question but I don't quite understand the workings of the Knight of Meadowgrain vs. Mutavault encounter.

So 3 first strike damage goes on the stack and in response Lee plays the Scion of Oona to make the Mutavault a 4/4.  If Trick plays Surge of Thoughtweft now, it makes the Knight of Meadowgrain a 4/4, then the first strike damage would resolve, so Mutavault would have 1 point of damage left.  Then the normal combat damage would resolve which means the Mutavault would deal 4 points of damage to the Knight of Meadowgrain, but would the Knight of Meadowgrain not get to deal 1 extra point of damage to the Mutavault?  Is it because it only gets to deal damage in the first strike phase?

Sorry if that's a stupid question, I just want to understand what's going on?

By the way, I think this Episode is great, I am so impressed with the way you have it all set up.

@Shandz, Creatures with first strike only deal damage during the First Strike Damage step of combat. So by waiting until after First Strike damage is on the stack, my three points were en route to the Mutavault when suddenly the Scion of Oona came into play (thanks to Flash) and buffed the Mutavault to a 4/4. So now, my three points hit and the Mutavault only needs 1 more damage to die, but it isn't dead. So then the Mutavault gets to deal four damage to the Knight.

Does that clear it up?

And no it isn't a stupid question smiley

it's actually a GREAT question.

the combat phase is one of the most neglected and most manipulated portions of the turn ;)
