I don't know...it could be a small thing. I think they are trying to encourage trading and not just people cashing in on cards...and I have to say I'm guilty of that myself. A lot of the wonder of the game is lost when little "Timmy" Trick laughing has to go to a dealer and buy his favorite bad rare for 3$ when he could have just traded for it.

So maybe they're trying to hold onto some of that wonder? Maybe?

I mean, has it been a problem? I haven't heard anything about it. Still seems weird, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a miscommunication and dealers will operate as usual. I heard a while back that dealers couldn't buy booster packs won as prizes, this I'm ok with. As it would encourage people to actually play with their prizes but the singles thing is a mystery.

Hey, this will be my first pre-release! I am very excited...not quite sure what to expect but am really looking forward to it. I think I will get whomped as I have only been playing for a few weeks but I have got my own bound copy of the comprehensive rules (who knew reading rules was so entertaining? 0_o) So... heres hoping.

Thanks for the show, only found just found you guys but your videos have been a lot of help! Keep up the good work.

This was my first pre-release I worked as a judge. It was fun to watching some of the new kids. I was bummed they didn't have draft. Oh well you can't have your way every day. All though I have to say "Shards of Alara" awsome set. it's going to make magic fun and exciting. I'm loving the 3 color gold decks. I can't wait to see how these are going to change decks in the very near future. oh can I say one thing. Devour, persist oh yeah baby, oh yeah... So watch out for my Quillspike, Persist, Devour deck!!!!!!!! You get no spoilers muhahaha.... anyways, way to many great qbilities added, Exalted (remember kids they stack). Well enough said.

Till we meet again

EXALTED FTW. I love exalted and I loved the Prerelease I had such a blast. Played Magic from 9-7. Then went out to Dinner and played some more with a sealed deck made up of just the boosters I won, without looking at them. Which was both fun and extremely painful. The guy I was playing somehow had a real solid deck (at least for the format) and never got too colorscrewed. I ON THE OTHER HAND, didn't do too hot. So I played Magic for about 12 hours and I wasn't nearly as tired as I thought I would be, and arguably I think I was playing better at the end of the day than the beginning. So much fun, and I am looking forward to the release this week!
