Well... I haven't really made an elf deck lately, but let's see what I can do. First off, I'm going to try to keep it as close to yours as I can. A few key cards for green decks these days are
Tarmogoyf
,
Garruk Wildspeaker
and
Chameleon Colossus
, but they're expensive.
In regards to your deck, I'd change it around to something like this:
All Green Version
Land: 20
20 Forest
Creatures: 33
4
Llanowar Elves
4
Heritage Druid
4
Devoted Druid
4
Imperious Perfect
3
Civic Wayfinder
- New
4
Bramblewood Paragon
- New (a must have for the trample!)
4
Immaculate Magistrate
4
Essence Warden
- No reason to splash white
Spells: 10
3
Elvish Promenade
- New
3
Mercy Killing
- New
4
Umbral Mantle
Sideboard: (I'm never very good at Sideboards..)
Combos:
Immaculate Magistrate
+
Umbral Mantle
+
Devoted Druid
= Infinite +1/+1 counters... fun times!
Complaints:
There's no real reaction in this deck, you're hoping you'll make it on the fast pace and the massive elves. Mercy killing is all that's in here.
A deck you might want to work towards is:
Black/Green Version
Land: 22
6 Forest
8 Swamps
4
Treetop Village
4
Gilt-Leaf Palace
Creatures: 27
4
Llanowar Elves
4
Devoted Druid
4
Llanowar Augur
4
Imperious Perfect
4
Civic Wayfinder
4
Shriekmaw
3
Chameleon Colossus
Spells: 11
3
Nameless Inversion
4
Profane Command
4
Mercy Killing
Combos:
Llanowar Augur
+
Chameleon Colossus
= fun!
Complaints:
You have a lot more reaction ability in this deck,
Nameless Inversion
,
Profane Command
, and
Shriekmaw
are all handy vs the normal decks these days.
Other fun combos/Cards to consider:
Flourishing Defenses
+
Devoted Druid
+
QuillSpike
= Infinite 1/1 Elves and an infinite/infinite
Quillspike
,
Mercy Killing
the
Quillspike
and you better have a lot of Elf tokens!
Mercy Killing
a
Chameleon Colossus
with a
Wilt-leaf Liege
in play = a bunch of 3/3 elves!

If you are going to get all of those tokens going I would suggest Garruk or just straight up
Overrun
. I know its beaten me more than once.
