call to heel

With the way this card reads, technically the card that's returned makes it into play first - right?
So whatever abilities it would activate via it coming into play would still take effect...?

huh?

Are you refering to your opponent playing a spell...and then you "bouncing" it with Call to Heel? If so...here is the order of events that happen.
1. Opponent announces the creature spell being played.
2. You have the option to respond.
3. The creature comes into play. All "Comes into Play" abilities go on the stack.
4. You have the option to respond. At this point you can play Call to Heel. The CIP abilities will still be on the stack...and will still resolve as normal.

A side note. I personally think that this is a better combat trick than anything. Use it on your own creature to draw a card.

You worded it better than I, and answered my question as well. Thanks again.

Basically I just wanted to know if the CIP resolved. And I do like the idea of using it on my own creatures...
