Changeling means that it is all creature types. Lets use
Chameleon Colossus
as an example. He counts as all creature types...there for he will both pump and receive for the other creatures in play. Example.
If you have 3
Llanowar Elves
and 2
Chameleon Colossus
in play along with a
Coat of Arms
...each of your elf creatures would get +4/+4...this includes
Chameleon Colossus
.
Now here is another senerio.
Lets say that you have:
3
Llanowar Elves
- Elf Type
2
Raging Goblin
s - Goblin
2
Chameleon Colossus
- All Types
Your Elves would get +4/+4.
Your Goblins would get +3/+3.
Your
Chameleon Colossus
would get +7/+7.
Does this make sense?

What if he had chameleon colossus in play with the coat of arms, and there are no other creatures in play.

Chameleon Colossus
would get +1/+1 for each other creature in play that shares a type with him. If there are no other creatures in play...he would get +0/+0.

Ok . I don't know where my mind went. I ment to ask what if there are 2 creatures with changling in play, along with coat of arms, and no other creatures. Wow my mind wondered while making that last post.

It only counts the creatures in play with a "like" creature type. The number of types are irrelevant.

+6/+6?
heh...thanks. Simple addition alludes me. It is +6/+6 because the creature doesn't count itself.

Just think of it this way. Say you have 10 changelings in play. Each creature asks the other creatures "Do you share atleast 1 creature type with me"
If Yes, I get +1/+1
If No, I get nothing.
So changeling 1 asks changeling 2-10 if they share atleast 1 creature type.
The response is Yes 9 times. So it receives +1/+1, 9 times.
